Jowar or sorghum is the most commonly used millet since ancient times, Jowar is commonly called by various names across India
Low glycemic index of Jowar is a good reason for diabetics to include jowar in their daily diet. Jowar is a rich source of B Vitamins and folic acid.
The fibre in Jowar keep the bowels moving,which prevents constipation . Jowar is a good source of phytochemicals.

Jowar dosa mix

Jawar flour,Black gram flour,Green gram flour, Fenugreek and Spices.

Cooking Method
• Add 1 cup of Jowar Dosa mix in a bowl and add 1 to 1 ½ cup water, mix well to get the batter without lumps.
• Keep batter aside for minimum 2 hours.
• Add salt, pinch of cooking soda and little water to get the dosa consistency.
• Heat tava, sprinkle water on tava, spread batter on medium flame, add 1 spoon oil or ghee along the sides.
• Roast till brown, spread onion pieces and serve with onion with redchilly chutney or Potato and tomato curry.
